VO is a natural extension of my deep love for performance. As a solo Indian Classical dancer (an art form that is equal parts drama and dance), I performed for diverse audiences across the U.S. and India, received the Princess Grace Award (youngest ever, at age 13) and have enjoyed critical acclaim by the New York Times. My VO performances are shaped by years of artistic discipline, dramatic training and vocal training in Indian Classical music as well.

 

I’ve also had a 15-year career in marketing/advertising for major brands such as Amazon, Yahoo and Time Inc. I've seen how the voice can be a powerful tool in brand story-telling and guiding audiences along a journey. I've written copy in my career and I've seen how the “other side of the desk” makes decisions. This allows me to empathize with clients and form productive relationships.

Additionally, my interests in health & wellness led me to receive certification from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition as a Holistic Health Coach. 

 

I particularly enjoy telling stories related to arts and culture, corporate and nonprofit missions/branding, health & wellness and the experiences of the Indian Diaspora.
